Seeba Maple No. 1

Inspired by the calm depths of the sea, Seeba combines the soft glow of alabaster with the warmth of hand-carved maple wood.

For centuries, alabaster was revered in ancient Egypt, used to craft vessels that stood the test of time. Today, we honor that tradition by continuing its craftsmanship—each piece is hand-carved by artisans in Upper Egypt—while reimagining it in a contemporary form.

The base is shaped and heat-treated by us in our Stockholm workshop, giving it its flowing, octopus-like form.

When lit, Seeba emits a soft, ambient glow that reveals the alabaster’s smooth surface and delicate veining, while the maple wood adds a warm, earthy touch. The combination of materials brings a balance of light and texture to your space.

Each piece is one of a kind—natural variations in hue, veining, and form make every lamp unique.
